Op 5 maart stijgen Taio Cruz en Travie McCoy van 12 naar 10 met Higher. Voor beide artiesten is het hun derde hit in Nederland.

Taio Cruz werd geboren in Londen op 23 april 1983. Hij schreef en produceerde eerder nummers voor Cheryl Cole, Ke$ha, Alexandra Burke, The Sugababes, Justin Timberlake, The Pussycat Dolls en Britney Spears. Zijn debuutalbum Departure verscheen in 2008. In oktober 2009 kwam z'n tweede album Rokstarr uit. Break Your Heart met Ludacris haalde in 2010 #8. Dynamite haalde #3.

Travie McCoy werd geboren als Travis Lazarus McCoy in Geneva (New York) op 5 augustus 1981. Hij is de leadzanger van de alternatieve-hiphopband Gym Class Heroes. Zijn eerste soloalbum Lazarus kwam uit op 8 juni 2010 in Amerika. De eerste single van dit album Billionaire, waarop hij samenwerkte met Bruno Mars, werd een nummer 1-hit in de Top 40. We'll Be Alright haalde #22 in hetzelfde jaar.
