Maroon 5 featuring Christina Aguilera komen op 9 juli 2011 op 5 de Top 40 binnen met Moves Like Jagger. Moves Like Jagger is Maroon 5's 13e single, 11e hit en 6e top 10-hit. Moves Like Jagger is Christina's 23e single, 19e hit en 13e top 10 hit.

Maroon 5 bestaat nu uit leadzanger/gitarist Adam Levine, gitarist James Valentine, keyboardspeler Jesse Carmichael, basgitarist Mickey Madden en drummer Matt Flynn. Van 1997-2006 was Ryan Dusick drummer van dienst. Hij verliet de groep vanwege een blessure door het jarenlange touren.

In februari 2004 verscheen de eerste single Harder To Breathe, die kwam tot tip 2. This Love haalde later dat jaar #3 en is tot op heden hun grootste hit in Nederland (16 weken notering). Ook She Will Be Loved (#6 in 2004), Must Get Out (#8 in 2005), Makes Me Wonder (#7 in 2007) en Misery (#10 in 2010) haalden de bovenste tien.
In Vlaanderen is Maroon 5 niet erg populair. Hun grootste hit (van de drie die ze er hebben) is This Love en die kwam in 2004 niet verder dan 21.

Christina Maria Aguilera werd geboren op 18 december 1980 op Staten Island, New York City. Vijf keer bereikte ze #2 in Nederland: Genie In A Bottle in 1999 (debuutsingle), Lady Marmelade in 2001 (met Pink, Lil' Kim en Mya), Dirrty in 2002, Beautiful in 2003 en Hurt in 2006.
In haar carrière heeft Aguilera een groot aantal prijzen gewonnen, waaronder vijf Grammy Awards. Ook heeft ze sinds 2010 een ster op de Hollywood Walk of Fame. Haar eigen parfum genaamd Christina Aguilera, dat in oktober 2007 uitkwam, werd een succes en daarom verschenen er daarna nog meer. Op 12 januari 2008 beviel ze van een zoon. In 2011 maakt Christina Aguilera debuut op televisie: ze is jurylid in zangwedstrijd The voice.
