Coldplay

Coldplay stijgt op 1 januari van 13 naar 7 met Christmas Lights. De track werd op 1 december uitgebracht als digitale download. Het is de eerste kerstsingle die Coldplay heeft uitgebracht. Het is Coldplay's 12e Top 40 hit en 6e Top 10 hit.

Coldplay werd opgericht in 1997. De groep bestaat uit Chris Martin (zang, piano, gitaar), Jon Buckland (leadgitaar), Guy Berryman (bassist) en Will Champion (drummer). Coldplay haalde zes keer de top 10: Clocks (#2 in 2003), Speed Of Sound (#6 in 2005), Talk (4 weken #1 in 2005/2006), Violet Hill (#9 in 2008) en Christmas Light in 2011.
