Meghan Trainor stijgt met All About That Bass op 27 september 2014 van 13 naar 7 in de vierde week notering. Eerder in september haalde ze met het nummer al de eerste plaats van de Billboard Hot 100. Ook in Denemarken, Nieuw-Zeeland en Australië werd de toppositie al bereikt.

Meghan Trainor wordt op 22 december 1993 geboren in Nantucket, Massachusetts. Ze maakte al op 18 jarige leeftijd haar eerste album I’ll Sing With You. Daarvoor schreef ze alle nummers zelf. Samen met Kevin Kadish, producent voor onder meer Jason Mraz en Stacie Orrico, schreef ze in 2014 het nummer All About The Bass dat in februari verschijnt.

De van origine Schotse dj en producer Adam Richard Wiles werd geboren op 17 januari 1984 in Dumfries. Als Stouffer kwam in 2002 zijn eerste mini-album uit. John Newman werd geboren in Settle, North Yorkshire, Engeland, op 16 juni 1990. John Newman scoorde met zijn eerste vocale bijdrage aan Feel The Love van Rudimental in 2012 al een #2 hit. Opvolger Not Giving In blijft steken in de tipparde. Eind 2013 verscheen zijn debuutalbum Cheating, waarvan Love Me Again (#14) zijn eerste solo-hit werd. Opvolger Losing Sleep kwam niet hoger dan de tipparade.

Rebecca Marie Gomez wordt op 2 maart 1997 geboren in Inglewood, Verenigde Staten. Ze start haar muzikale loopbaan in meidengroepjes. The Script, bestaande uit leadzanger Danny O’Donoghue, gitarist Mark Sheehan en drummer Glen Power, scoorde met The Man Who Can't Be Moved in 2008 hun eerste hit. In 2012 was Hall Of Fame met Will.I.Am tot dan toe hun grootste hit in Nederland (#17).
