Op 16 april stijgt Jennifer Lopez featuring Pitbull van 13 naar 8 met On The Floor. Het is na vier jaar hitstilte haar 18e Top 40-hit en 14e top 10-succes. In de Vlaamse Ultratop is het haar eerste nummer 1-hit.

Zangeres en actrice Jennifer Lynn Lopez werd geboren in New York op 24 juli 1969. Ze gaat ook als J.Lo door het leven. Ze is van Puerto Ricaanse afkomst, maar groeide op in The Bronx in New York. In 1995 verscheen ze voor het eerst in de films My Family en Money Train. Debuutsingle If You Had My Love stond in Nederland 1 week 1 in 1999. Love Don't Cost A Thing stond 2 weken bovenaan in 2001.

Pitbull is de artiestennaam van rapper Armando Christian Pérez (Miami, Florida, 14 januari 1981). On The Floor is Pitbulls achtste single en zesde hit. I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho) stond in 2009 drie weken #1.
