Birdy

Op 19 november 2011 stijgt Birdy van 14 naar 5 met Skinny Love. De song is een cover van de Amerikaanse folkgroep Bon Iver. Bon Iver nam het in 2008 op, maar behaalde er nergens de hitparade mee. Op 11 februari 2012 stijgt de track in de 15e week notering terug de top 10 in van 11 naar 9.

Birdy werd geboren op 15 mei 1996 als Jasmine Van den Bogaerde in Lymington, Hampshire. Haar moeder is concertpianiste. In 2008 won ze op 12-jarige leeftijd de muziekwedstrijd Open Mic.  Haar versie van Bon Ivers Skinny Love kwam in januari 2011 uit in het Verenigd Koninkrijk en die piekt op #17.  Haar debuutalbum Birdy verschijnt op 7 november 2011.
