Sheppard stijgt op 15 november 2014 met Geronimo van 17 naar 9 in de vierde week notering. De track is afkomstig van het album Bombs Away.

In 2009 vormen Amy en George Sheppard hun band en kregen ze versterking van Jay Bovino en later groeide de groep uit tot een formatie van zes toen ook Emma Sheppard zich bij de band voegde. In 2013 verscheen hun eerste single Hold My Tongue.

Aronchupa

I'm An Albatroaz van Aronchupa stijgt op 15 november 2014 van 11 naar 4 in de derde week. Het is zijn eerste hit. In Denemarken en Zweden haalde de track al #1.

Achter de naam Aronchupa gaat de Zweedse dj en producer Aron Ekberg schuil. Hij maakt ook deel uit van een vijftal dat hiphop en dance maakt onder de naam Albatraoz. De vrouwenstem die het refrein van I’m An Albatraoz zingt is Nora Ekberg, Arons zus.

Met Sam Martin scoorde hij eerder dit jaar al een hit met Lovers On The Sun. Dangerous is zijn 29ste hit in Nederland en op dit moment is hij de meest succesvolle Top 40-artiest die nog nooit een nummer 1-hit heeft gescoord. In Frankrijk en Wallonië was de single al goed voor de toppositie. Op 24 november verschijnt het album Listen.

David Guetta werd op 7 november 1967 in Parijs geboren. In 2002 scoort hij zijn eerste Nederlandse hit met Love Don't Let Me Go. In 2009 scoort hij zijn grootste successen met When Love Takes Over (met Kelly Rowland) en Sexy Bitch (met Akon).

Samuel Denison Martin werd geboren op 7 februari 1983 in  New York City, VS. Sam Martin studeerde twee jaar aan de Berklee School Of Music en is mede-oprichter en zanger van de band Con Bro Chill, die hij samen met zijn broer Connor Martin begon. Naast zanger is hij ook succesvol als schrijver. Zo schreef hij mee aan Daylight van Maroon 5. Ook werkte hij mee aan het album V van Maroon 5. Martin hielp met het schrijven van Lovers On The Sun (ook van David Guetta) en scoorde daarmee eerder dit jaar al zijn eerste eigen notering in de Top 40 (#11).

Ed Sheeran stijgt op 8 november 2014 met Thinking Out Loud van 21 naar 9 in de vierde week. Derde single afkomstig van het album X.

Edward Christopher Sheeran werd geboren in Halifax, Verenigd Koninkrijk op 17 februari 1991. Met The A Team is hij in 2011 te zien in het programma Later… with Jools Holland. De single stond maar liefst 32 weken genoteerd in de Top 40. Kort daarna bereikte ook The Lego House de lijst, maar de singles daarna floppen allemaal. Tot in 2013 als het tweede deel van de bioscoopserie The Hobbit in première gaat. Sheeran maakt met I See Fire een belangrijke hit voor die film. In 2014 verscheen het tweede album X Van dat album bereiken Sing en Don't beide de 15e plaats in de lijst.

Avicii stijgt met The Days op 1 november 2014 in de derde week notering van 11 naar 10. Het nummer, waarop de vocalen van Robbie Williams te horen zijn, is de voorloper van zijn nieuwe album dat in 2015 zal verschijnen.

Tim Bergling (Stockholm, 8 september 1989) scoorde in ons land als Tim Berg zijn eerste hit. Bromance staat in de zomer van 2010 maar liefst 21 weken in de Top 40 en bereikte de tweede plaats. Ook scoort hij als Tom Hangs een top-10 hit met Blessed (#9 in 2011). Daarna scoort hij onder de naam Avicii. Wake Me Up, waarop Aloe Blacc de vocalen voor zijn rekening neemt, stond in 2013 maar liefst 11 weken op de eerste plaats van de Top 40. Ook de opvolger, Hey Brother, bereikt de hoogste positie in de Top 40. Ook Addicted To You werde een hit, maar Lay Me Down, waarop ook Nile Rodgers en Adam Lambert te horen zijn, flopt.
Avicii staat in zowel 2012 als 2013 in de wereldwijde DJ Top 100 van DJ Magazine op de derde plaats.

Mr. Probz stijgt op 18 oktober 2014 met Nothing Really Matters in de tweede week van 17 naar 1. Het is zijn derde hit in Nederland.

Dennis Princewell Stehr (Amsterdam, 15 mei 1984), beter bekend als Mr. Probz, is een Nederlandse artiest van Deense en Antilliaanse afkomst uit Zoetermeer. In de Nederlandse film Bolletjes Blues uit 2006 speelde hij de hoofdrol van Jimmy. Met Sukkel Voor De Liefde had hij in 2013 samen met The Opposites zijn eerste hit (#11). Waves kwam in mei 2013 binnen en hield het 28 weken uit met #6 als hoogste notering. De Robin Schulz Remix ervan haalde tip 1 in 2014.

Taylor Alison Swift werd geboren op 13 december 1989 in Reading, Pennsylvania. Ze schrijft al op jonge leeftijd gedichten, boeken en liedjes. In 2006 verschijnt haar eerste single Tim McGraw. In 2009 haalde Love Story de 13de plaats in de Top 40. In 2012 scoorde Swift twee maal in de Top 40: We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together (#16) en I Knew You Were Trouble (#19). Daarna scoort ze met 22 (tip 7) en Everything Has Changed (tip 5 met Ed Sheeran) nog twee noteringen in de Tipparade.
