Emeli Sande - Read All About It (Part 3)
You've got the words to change a nation but you're biting your tongue
You've spent a life time stuck in silence afraid you'll say something wrong
If no one ever hears it, how we gonna learn your song?
So come, on come on, Come on, come on

You've got a heart as loud as lions, So why let your voice be tamed?
Baby we're a little different, there's no need to be ashamed
You've got the light to fight the shadows, so stop hiding it away
Come on, Come on

I wanna sing, I wanna shout
I wanna scream till the words dry out
So put it in all of the papers, I'm not afraid
They can read all about it, read all about it
Oh oh-oh-oh oh-oh-oh oh-oh-oh oh-oh-oh oh-oh-oh oh-oh-oh

At night we're waking up the neighbours while we sing away the blues
Making sure that we remember yeah cause we all matter too
If the truth has been forbidden then we're breaking all the rules
So come on, come on, Come on, come on

Lets get the tv and the radio to play our tune again
Its 'bout time we got some airplay of our version of events
There's no need to be afraid, I will sing with you my friend
Come on, come on

I wanna sing, I wanna shout
I wanna scream till the words dry out
So put it in all of the papers, I'm not afraid
They can read all about it read all about it
Oh oh-oh-oh oh-oh-oh oh-oh-oh oh-oh-oh oh-oh-oh oh-oh-oh

Yeah we're all wonderful, wonderful people
So when did we all get so fearful?
Now we're finally finding our voices
So take a chance, come help me sing this

Yeah we're all wonderful, wonderful people
So when did we all get so fearful?
And now we're finally finding our voices
So take a chance, come help me sing this

I wanna sing, I wanna shout
I wanna scream till the words dry out
So put it in all of the papers, I'm not afraid
They can read all about it, read all about it
Oh oh-oh-oh oh-oh-oh oh-oh-oh oh-oh-oh oh-oh-oh oh-oh-oh

I wanna sing, I wanna shout
I wanna scream till the words dry out
So put it in all of the papers, I'm not afraid
They can read all about it, read all about it oh

In Vlaanderen haalde Heaven #23, Read All About It #21 en Next To Me staat nu in de top 10. Emeli is op dit moment druk bezig met het schrijven van teksten voor de comeback van de Sugababes in de originele bezetting.

Emeli Sandé - Next To Me
You won’t find him drinking at the table
Rolling dice and staying out til 3
You won’t ever find him being unfaithful
You will find you will find him next to me
You won’t find him trying to change the devil
For money fame power out of grief
You won’t ever find him where the rest go
You will find him find him next to me
Next to me ooooh
Next to me ooooh
Next to me ooooh
You will find him you’ll find him next to me
When the end has come and buildings falling down fast
When we spoilt the land and dried up all the sea
When everyone’s lost their head all around us
You will find him you’ll find him next to me
Never in my life have i met someone like him
I’m blown away by his love for me
If you ever wonder where it is you’ll find him
You will find him you will find him next to me
Next to me ooooh
Next to me ooooh
Next to me ooooh
You will find him you’ll find him next to me
When the moneys spent and all my friends have vanished
And I can’t seem to find no help or love for free
I know there’s no need for me to panic
Cause I’ll find him I’ll find him next to me
When the skies are grey and all the doors are closing
And the rising pressure makes it hard to breathe
All i need is a helping hand to stop the tears from
falling
I will find him will find him next to me
Next to me ooooh
Next to me ooooh
Next to me ooooh
You will find him you’ll find him next to me
Next to me ooooh
Next to me ooooh
Next to me ooooh
You will find him you’ll find him next to me
