Anouk

Anouk komt op 23 maart 2013 op vier binnen met Birds. Het is de Nederlandse inzending voor het Eurovisie Songfestival. Het nummer werd intern gekozen en gepresenteerd op 11 maart 2013. Op dinsdag 14 mei zal Anouk Nederland vertegenwoordigen tijdens de eerste halve finale van het Eurovisie Songfestival in het Zweedse Malmö. Birds werd over het algemeen positief ontvangen en stond meteen #1 in de iTunes-lijst. Op vrijdag 17 mei komt Anouks nieuwe album Sad Singalong Songs uit en dat wordt het eerste album dat de zangeres uitbrengt op haar eigen Goldilox-label en alweer haar tiende studioalbum.

Nadat Anouk op 18 mei 2013 een 9e plaats behaalde op het Eurovisie Songfestival stijgt de single in de 10e week notering van 27 terug naar 8.

Anouk Teeuwe werd op 8 april 1975 in Den Haag geboren. In 2006 haalde haar eerste single Mood Indigo tip 6. Haar tweede single Nobody's Wife haalde in 1997 #2. Pas in 2009 bereikte ze voor het eerst en tot nu toe laatst #1 met Three Days In A Row (4 weken). Ze staat met 14 tracks in de Radio 2 Top 2000 en Nobody's Wife op 140 is de hoogstgenoteerde daarvan.
