Glennis Grace en Edwin Evers komen op 31 december op 9 binnen met Wil Je Niet Nog 1 Nacht. Het is Glennis' vijfde Top 40 hit, derde hit in 2012 en tweede top 10-hit. Voor Edwin Evers is het zijn vierde hit en eerste top 10-hit.

Tijdens zijn vakantie in Las Vegas hoorde Edwin Evers het duet Don’t You Wanna Stay van countryzanger Jason Aldean en Kelly Clarkson op de radio. Edwin was zo onder de indruk van de track dat hij besloot een Nederlandse tekst te schrijven. Hij belde Glennis Grace op met de vraag of zij de demo wilde inzingen. Tijdens het inzingen werden beiden zo enthousiast dat spontaan besloten werd om er  een duet van te maken.

Glennis Grace is sinds 2010 ammbassadeur van de stichting Stop Kindermisbruik. De volledige opbrengst van de track komt ten goede van deze stichting.

Glennis Grace werd geboren als Glenda Hulita Elisabeth Batta in Amsterdam op 19 juni 1978.Met I'm Gonna Be Strong haalde ze in 1994 #13. In 2005 vertegenwoordigde ze Nederland op het Eurovisie Songfestival met My Impossible Dream (#26).

Edwin Evers werd geboren in Hardenberg op 9 mei 1971 en werkt nu als radio-dj bij Radio 538. Ook is hij drummer en zanger/imitator. In 1998 haalde hij als Frank & Ronald #16 met Geld Maakt Niet Gelukkig. In 2004 haalde hij #17 met Waar Moet 'Ie In? (Daar Moet 'Ie in) (wederom als Frank & Ronald). In het voorjaar van 2007 deed hij mee aan het Tien-programma Just the two of us. Daarin vormde hij een zangduo met Berget Lewis. Ze wonnen in de finale van Monique Smit en Xander de Buisonjé. In 2008 scoorde Evert als Kid B met Martin van der Starre een #17 met Una Paloma Blanca Heel De Zomer Lang. In een van de uitzendingen van het tweede seizoen van het RTL 4 programma Ik hou van Holland speelde hij drums in de I Love Holland-band. Daarnaast heeft hij zijn eigen band: Evers slaat door. Ook is de band van Edwin de band van het populaire tv-programma The Voice of Holland van RTL 4.

Het instrumentale Epic van Sandro Silva & Quintino stijgt op 31 december van 14 naar 1 in de tweede week notering. De muziek is afkomstig van Maarten Vorwerk, Quinten van den Berg en Shandro Jahangier. 

Achter de actnaam Sandro Silva en Quintino gaan de dj’s Quinten van den Berg en Shandro Jahangier schuil. Quinten van den Berg scoorde in de zomer van 2011 een hit met het Turn Up The Beach-anthem Selecta (#37) dat hij samen met Afrojack maakte.

De Studio Killers stijgen op 24 december 2011 van 12 naar 9 met Ode To The Bouncer. De Studio Killers bestaan uit zangeres Cherry, toetsenist Goldie Foxx en diskjockey/muziekproducent Dyna Mink.

Studio Killers is een virtuele band, die ontstaan is in 2011. De stemmen van de geanimeerde karakters zijn van Philip Larsen uit Denemarken, Teemu Brunila uit Finland en Darren Stokes uit het Verenigd Koninkrijk. Wie welk personage vertolkt is onbekend.

Op 17 december 2011 stijgen Snoop Dogg, Wiz Khalifa en Bruno Mars van 11 naar 10 met Young, Wïld & Free. Het is Snoop Doggs 17e hit in Nederland, de eerste voor Wiz Khalifa en de achtste voor Bruno Mars (en nummer negen staat ook al genoteerd). Op 11 februari 2012 keert de track in de 12e week notering terug in de top 10.

Snoop Dogg werd geboren als Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr. in Long Beach (Californië) op 20 oktober 1971. Oorspronkelijk was zijn artiestennaam Snoop Doggy Dogg. In die hoedanigheid scoorde hij in 1993-1994 zijn eerste hit What's My Name (#11). California Gurls met Katy Perry was in 2010 zijn grootste hit tot nu toe, die bereikte #2.

Wiz Khalifa werd geboren als Cameron Jibril Thomaz in Minot (North Dakota) op 8 september 1987. Zijn eerste single Black And Yellow bracht het tot tip 10 in het voorjaar van 2011.

Ed Sheeran stijgt op 10 december 2011 in de tiende week van 12 naar 8 met The A Team. The A Team is de eerste single van het debuutalbum van de Britse singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran. De track verscheen op 11 juli 2011. Het Nederlandse hitverloop is grillig: 33 24 24 23 29 32 30 15 12 8. Op 4 februari 2012 stijgt de track wederom de top 10 in doordat Chris Hordijk in de kwartfinale van The Voice of Holland een cover brengt van de song.

Edward Christopher Sheeran werd geboren in Halifax, Verenigd Koninkrijk, op 17 februari 1991. Sheeran brak in zijn geboorteland in juni 2011 door met zijn debuutsingle The A Team, die binnenkwam op #3 in de UK Singles Chart.
