Gers Pardoel

Gers Pardoel stijgt op 29 oktober in de 3e week van 14 naar 2 met Ik Neem Je Mee. Het is Gers' derde Top 40-hit. In 2010 haalde Broodje Bakpao (met The Opposites & Sef) #2 en in 2011 bereikte Ik Ga Hard #16 (met The Partysquad, Adje, Jayh & Reverse). De track Ik Neem Je Mee is geproduceerd door Sergio van Gonter. Op 10 maart 2012 stijgt de track in de 22e week notering van 12 terug naar 10.


Gerwin 'Gers' Pardoel werd geboren in Nijmegen op 12 mei 1981. Het nummer Broodje Bakpao behaalde in 2010 de eerste plaats in de Single Top 100 en de tweede plaats in de Top 40. Op 14 oktober 2011 verschijnt zijn eerste album 'Deze Wereld Is Van Jou'.

Op 15 oktober stijgen Rihanna en Calvin Harris van 14 naar 3 met We Found Love. Rihanna staat op die datum ook nog op 6 met haar solosingle Man Down. We Found Love is een track van de Barbadiaanse zangeres Rihanna van haar nog te verschijnen zesde studioalbum Talk That Talk. De single is geproduceerd door Calvin Harris. We Found Love ging op 22 september 2011 in première. Op 27 september zorgde Rihanna voor opschudding door zonder toestemming van een Ierse boer in lingerie door zijn graanveld te dansen voor de opname van de clip. Later stemde hij toe nadat hij met haar had gesproken, maar hij had geen idee wie de zangeres was. In de clip speelt de Britse boxer Dudley O’Shaughnessy ook een rol. De single bereikte al de toppositie in het Verenigd Koninkrijk, Noorwegen, Frankrijk en Denemarken.

Calvin Harris werd op 17 januari 1984 geboren als Adam Richard Wiles in het Schotse Dumfries. In 2007 verscheen zijn eerste single Acceptable In The 90's, maar hij moest tot juli 2011 wachten voor zijn eerste Top 40 hit en dat was Bounce met Kelis en die bracht het tot #28.

The Voice Of Holland

One Thousand Voices van The Voice Of Holland stijgt op 8 oktober van 21 naar 1. Marco Borsato, Angela Groothuizen, Nick & Simon, en Roel van Velzen gaan schuil achter deze actnaam. Zij zijn ook de coaches van seizoen 2 van het gelijknamige tvprogramma. Seizoen twee begon op 23 september 2011 en coaches VanVelzen, Angela Groothuizen, Nick & Simon en Marco Borsato openden daarmee. De inkomsten uit de verkochte downloads gaan naar Stichting Heppie, dat zorgeloze groepsvakanties en weekends organiseert voor kinderen die om uiteenlopende redenen er nooit op uit kunnen.

Voor Marco Roberto Borsato (Alkmaar, 21 december 1966) is deze track zijn 16e nummer één hit. Voor Angela Groothuizen (Alkmaar, 28 september 1959) is het haar tweede nummer 1 hit na Love Me Just A Little Bit More (met de Dolly Dots). Voor Nick & Simon (Nick Schilder; Volendam, 6 november 1983 en Simon Keizer; Volendam, 16 mei 1984) en Roel van Velzen (Delft, 20 maart 1978) is het hun eerste nummer 1-hit.

The Voice of Holland is een talentenjacht die RTL4 op 17 september 2010 voor het eerst uitzond. Het programma is bedacht door John de Mol. Door het succes van de Nederlandse versie werd het format wereldwijd verkocht. Bij The Voice of Holland doe je een blind audition, een idee van Roel van Velzen. Tijdens de blind audition krijgen de vier juryleden/coaches de kans om voor een zanger/duo te kiezen op basis van muzikaliteit en stem. Elk kandidaat heeft de kans om ongeveer één minuut lang een nummer naar keuze te zingen en als één van de juryleden/coaches besluit om de artiest in zijn of haar team te plaaten moet het jurylid op zijn of haar eigen knop drukken en het jurylid draait zich vervolgens om zodat hij de act kan zien. Wanneer twee of meer juryleden een artiest in zijn of haar team wil hebben, mag de artiest zelf kiezen met welk coach hij of zij verder wil. De winnaar van het eerste seizoen was Ben Saunders.
